Everybody has in the life somebody who is always asking questions. Parents have their curious children. Batman has the Riddler. And Erasmus students have the ESNers.
No, Erasmus is not just about travelling and partying. Erasmus is also about getting new experiences and about broadening your skills and knowledge. This time it was the knowledge we were examining. You know, like on some courses where teachers give a small test just to verify the amount of knowledge at the beginning of the semester and later the same one at the end of the semester. And we were not asking on the number of beers consumed by Micheal Jackson during his lifetime. Things went serious this time.
We have divided 50 questions into five main categories:
- guess the picture,
- celebrities and sport
- history, politics and geography
- music,
- movies and TV series.
Everybody, a guy liking history and geography or a girl in love with music, had a chance to contribute to the victory of their respective teams. In total, we had three Erasmus teams and one unofficial team of ESNers. The most difficult part was the third one, were one ESNer was showing his muscles of knowledge of history, but in the end he failed :D questions were difficult and after all sets of questions, we had a winner.
The Pub Quiz has taken place on the first Wednesday of the semester, February 15, 2017, in a bar near to the main train station, which has created an agreeable ambience for the Pub Quiz, offering beer and a small snack for everybody. We believe that all participants have enjoyed our Pub Quiz and we are waiting you in the next up-coming events of the ESN EU Bratislava!
